Sysnet pass with flying colours

Sysnet were today re-accredited as Investors in People by showing proof positive of IIP in action.

After two days of staff interviews Sysnet were re-accredited as Investors in People by the Scottish Enterprise PACE team.
Staff development procedures underwent two major revisions to shadow changes made to the standard between Sysnet gaining initial recognition as Glasgow's 200th Investor in 1999 and re-accreditation in 2002.

And it paid off. The assessor commented that Sysnet's procedures met, and in some cases exceeded the standard and the company's "iBook" personal development tool was singled out for special praise, along with the enthusiasm of everyone the assessor interviewed.

"IIP was the bell of success for Sysnet when our major business partner, Lotus, increased the number of qualified staff required to remain a Premier Business Partner from three to eight. Thanks to our commitment to IIP, we already exceeded Lotus's new requirements, with the result that we became Scotland's only Premier Business Partner virtually overnight".
